Exchange Rate Converter Guide

This tool supports bidirectional conversion among 10 major currencies including CNY, USD, EUR, and JPY. Rates are fetched in real time from a free API and cached locally. The source and target amounts are linked bidirectionally — modifying either side instantly converts the other.

Rate Source

Real-time rates come from the exchangerate.host free API (no key required), requested automatically on page load. After a successful request, the rate is cached in the browser's localStorage by currency pair + date, so the same pair can be reused within the same day. If the API fails, cached rates are used first; if no cache exists, built-in reference rates are used as a fallback, with a notice shown in the alert bar.

Mid Rate vs Cash Rate

  • Mid Rate: The benchmark rate published daily by the central bank, used as a reference for interbank foreign exchange trading. The real-time rates from this tool are closest to this figure.
  • Cash Buy/Sell Rate: The actual quotes banks use when buying and selling foreign currency cash, including transport and storage costs. The buy rate is typically lower than the mid rate, and the sell rate is higher.
  • Transfer Buy/Sell Rate: Applies to account transfers of foreign currency without physical cash; the spread is smaller than for cash.

The actual amount you receive depends on your bank's posted rates. Results from this tool are for reference only.

Why Are Results For Reference Only

Foreign exchange rates fluctuate in real time. The API returns a mid rate at a specific moment, not the actual transaction rate you'll get when buying or selling. Additionally, banks charge spreads and fees, and cross-border transfers may involve telegraph fees and intermediary bank charges, so the converted result may differ from the actual amount received.

FAQ

Why does it show "Using cached/reference rate"?
When the real-time API request fails (due to network issues or service unavailability), the tool automatically falls back to locally cached or built-in reference rates and explains this via the yellow alert bar. Results may differ from the latest market rates in this case.
Why are JPY and KRW amounts so large?
Currencies like JPY and KRW have small unit values — 1 CNY can exchange for dozens to hundreds of yen or won, which is normal. Results are rounded to at most 4 decimal places, with thousands separators added automatically for large numbers.
How often are rates updated?
Each time you switch currencies or refresh the page, the latest rates are requested anew. Within the same day, locally cached rates are reused for the same currency pair to reduce requests.

汇率来源

实时汇率来自 exchangerate.host 免费接口（无需密钥），页面加载时自动请求一次。请求成功后按「币种对 + 日期」缓存到浏览器 localStorage，下次同一币种对在同一天内可直接复用；接口异常时优先使用缓存汇率，无缓存时使用内置参考汇率兜底，并通过提示条告知。

中间价 vs 现钞价

  • 中间价：央行每日公布的基准汇率，是银行间外汇交易的参考价，本工具实时汇率更接近该口径。
  • 现钞买入价/卖出价：银行买卖外币现钞的实际报价，含运输保管成本，买入价通常低于中间价，卖出价高于中间价。
  • 现汇买入价/卖出价：针对外汇账户划转，不涉及现钞，价差小于现钞。

实际到账金额以您所在银行的挂牌汇率为准，本工具结果仅作参考。

为什么结果仅供参考

外汇市场汇率实时波动，接口返回的是某一时刻的中间价，并非您实际结售汇时的成交价。此外银行会收取点差和手续费，跨境汇款还涉及电报费、中转行费用等，因此换算结果与实际收付金额会有差异。

常见问题

为什么显示「已使用缓存/参考汇率」？
当实时接口请求失败（网络问题或服务不可用）时，工具会自动回退到本地缓存或内置参考汇率，并通过黄色提示条说明，此时结果可能与最新市场汇率存在偏差。
日元、韩元等小币种为什么金额这么大？
日元、韩元等币种单位价值较小，1 元人民币可兑换数十至数百日元/韩元，属正常现象。结果保留至多 4 位小数，大额数字自动添加千分位。
汇率多久更新一次？
每次切换币种或刷新页面都会重新请求最新汇率；同一天内对同一币种对则优先复用本地缓存以减少请求。
